BBA /BCA –

HNCC has pioneered the process of induction of BBA & BCA Courses in Solapur. Considering the need for professionalism BBA & BCA Courses were started in the year 2003 which
were affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Since the start of Solapur University in the year 2004, these courses were affiliated to Solapur University, Solapur.

Admission Process :

As per Affiliated University Norms & Guidelines, Candidates who have completed any 10 + 2 in any stream are eligible for the enrollment of BBA and BCA courses. These candidates
have to appear and pass in the Entrance Examination conducted by the College as directed by the Affiliating University (Formerly, upto 2017-18 this test was commonly
conducted by the University for all the affiliated colleges).
The process of admission is as follows:
• Candidates register for Entrance Examination in the college within the provided time frame after the HSC results are declared.
• Separate Entrance Examination is conducted in the college for BBA and BCA. There can be candidates who have registered and attempt examinations for both the courses.
• Entrance Examination result is declared.
• A merit list is prepared by giving weightage of 60% to HSC score and 40% of Entrance test marks of the candidate.
• Allotment List as per intake capacity is prepared and candidates’ allocated seats are provided 2 days time frame to confirm their enrollment. This process is repeated for vacant
seats for 3 rounds as per vacancy status till all the seats are filled.

The reservation policy of the state government is implemented during the allotment of the seats. However, the government does not provide any financial scholarships for
UG courses and therefore, all the candidates are expected to pay full fees as prescribed for the course.
 

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

With Phenomenal growth in the Indian Economy and entry of Multinationals, the Commercial enterprise today is looking at people to take up responsibility at every level.

BBA or Bachelor of Business Administration is a degree course that truly reflects the reality of globalization. BBA courses expose students to the core areas of management
as well as give them ample opportunity to specialize in a variety of subjects: accounting, business law, economics, finance, management information systems, marketing,
organisation behaviour management, human resources management, statistics.
Our focus on professional management education is based on the latest developments in academic theory and best business practices while preparing graduates for
challenging work environments and advanced academic study.
BBA is a professional course. This course is a full-time course and the duration of the course is of three years. BBA is an undergraduate course. Teachers & Students have
great zeal in academic activities. Right from the establishment of BBA course had followed the Annual pattern till March 2010 and later it was changed to Semester pattern.
Considering the volatility of market the course has been changed to semester pattern.

The Objectives of the B.B.A. course are as follows:
• To provide an adequate basic understanding of the management subjects.
• To inculcate management skills.
• To prepare students to exploit opportunities being created in the field of management.
• To give an adequate exposure to operational environment in the field of management.

Salient Features of BBA
• The comprehensive 3-year (Six Semester) BBA program is designed with unique features of graduated sequential learning that give it an edge over other traditional
degree courses. It is a UGC approved course.
• In the first two years, the students undertake Mini projects and in the third year he undertakes a major project.
• The first three semesters cover generic BBA course on all aspects such as general management principles & practices, general financial principles/practices,
International Business, Information & communication technology, etc. The final two semesters shall focus on specializations for the students.
• Practical based Internal assessment work for students so as for the overall development of the student.
• On completion of the degree course, a student can opt for a job or may seek admission to our prestigious two-year Post-Graduate Program the MBA program.

Bachelor OF Computer Application (BCA)

This is a three years bachelor’s degree course in computer applications aimed at developing computer professional versatile in the use of computers mostly in business
world. The emphasis is to have generality of developing professionals as a programmer, system analysts, database administrators, documentation officer, etc.

Objectives:
1. To be valued employees in a wide variety of occupations in industry and government in particular as computer scientists and software engineers.
2. To provide students with the tools to identify problems that are best solved by means of a computer and to design and implement effective, efficient, and creative solutions.
3. To provide students with a strong foundation in the software and hardware aspects of computing, as well as the mathematics and science of the discipline.
4. To provide students with an understanding and appreciation of the societal consequences of technology, including computers, and of the ethical issues that may
arise with new technologies.
5. To pursue life-long learning and professional development to remain current in an ever-changing technological world.
